Sewing Windows: Using the 7-in-1 and Fast Frames

The Quick Change sewing windows are designed to be used with peel and stick, or water activated, sticky backing. The sewing windows are very convenient for embroidering on cap backs, pant legs, Christmas stockings, cuffs, collars - anything that can typically be difficult to hoop.

Fast Frames 7-in-1 Bracket Ears

Step 1:

Before the 7-in-1 can be used, it is necessary to attach the brackets or "ears" to the 7-in-1. Locate the brackets (packaged separately) along with the 6 mounting screws.

Step 2:

Align the brackets or "ears" exactly as shown below. Attach one bracket to each side with 3 of the mounting screws. Each bracket is different, so be sure that the bracket notches appear exactly as below. Once the brackets are in place, the 7-in-1 can be attached to your embroidery machine in the same way as any tubular style hoop.

Step 3:

To begin using your 7-in-1 apply sticky backing to the underside of the sewing window with the sticky side up. The fabric to be embroidered is pressed down on the sticky side and is held in place during sewing. After the design is complete, just tear away the backing from the window, patch the hole with another piece of peel and stick, and you're ready for the next design.
