Inputting a Design
into the Embroidery Machine

- Turn on the embrodery machine
- The LCD panel reads Hoop-Flat or Hoop-Cap. Simply press the SET
key. Toggle between Flat and Cap mode by using the right position
arrow.
- If the screen reads Embroidery Start, skip to step 6, otherwise it
reads Select Mode
- Press ESC to return to the starting point of the current design or
press SET to go to the last stitch sewn. (in order to enter another
design you have to be at the starting point of a design).
- If the ESC key is used the LCD screen displays EMB Start (starting
point)
- Press the Data button. Notice the cursor is flashing next to the
Input Design option.
- Press the SET key.
- The menu will read Input thru PC, Format-Toyota or Format -
TA/BA/Z. Toggle between PC mode and Disk Reader mode (Format) by
using the DATA button.
- Input thru PC - A job number generated from the Designer Series
Software should be entered here. Press the SET key.
- Format (Disk reader mode)- Toggle between Toyota and TA/BA/Z
(Tajima, Barudan and ZSK) by pressing the Right Arrow key. Press SET.
Use the up arrow to view the Designs and press SET to select a
Design
- The green light will begin flashing. This indicates the design is
being loaded into the machine's memory.
- Enter the desired color changes followed by the SET key
- Press the Trace key to move the panotgraph around the outer square
coordinates of the design. This is an important step to ensure
your work will fit within the hoop.
- Press Start to being stitching
- Once the design is completed, press Start Point
- Press Start to repeat the design or press Data to input another
one.
