Pantograms' New Give-Away for 2001

Pantograms Manufacturing Co. Tampa, FL has invited the public to enter their great new drawing for 2001. "The Pantograms Diner" contest is serving up a $25,000 giveaway on their website at pantograms.com. Entrants may register to win a complete custom embroidery system valued at up to $25,000. The grand prizewinner will choose from a menu that includes a TOYOTA embroidery machine model of choice and one level of Pantograms Designer Series embroidery software. The remainder of the prize will include any of a number of options and accessories the winner chooses.

Although the grand prize will be drawn later this year, entry participants will have a number of chances to win the complete PantoStock library of stock designs. This collection includes over 4000 creative designs and is valued at $595.00.

Pantograms Introduces "The Carpetmaster"

Pantograms is pleased to announce the development of "The Carpetmaster", the latest in their series of specialty equipment and software. "The Carpetmaster" hooping system allows TOYOTA machine operators to do custom embroidery on heavy materials like car mats and rugs. For the first time they have a quick method for stitching rugs like one would find on original equipment mats in new cars. The operator can use generic after-market mats and customize them with designs, names, car model, and more. The possibilities are endless.

Pantograms developed this unique item in response to a specific customer request. Advanced prototypes proved successful and refinements were made. The final product is now available to the general public for use in a market the company believes is relatively untouched.

"The Carpetmaster" framing system is adjustable for different sized mats and mounts directly onto TOYOTA models 850, 851 and 860. It easily attaches in the same manner as a typical hoop- holder. The introductory price is $195.00 and includes everything needed to embroider on these heavy fabrics.

Pantograms' Launches "Getting Started ..." Seminars For 2001

Pantograms Manufacturing Company, Tampa, FL hosted "Getting Started In Your Embroidery Business" seminars in Houston, TX on February 3rd, 2001 and in Phoenix, AZ on February 10th. These conferences were the first in a series of national events geared toward home machine users and others who are considering embroidering for profit. Attendees received valuable information on components of the embroidery profession, including Special Niche Marketing, Pricing, Financing a New Operation, Advertising, Business Planning and more.

Jennifer Kalish, Pantograms Education Director led the conference and gave an overview on embroidery software, including lettering, editing, and digitizing applications and a demonstration on machine embroidery. Guests enjoyed a luncheon as well as refreshments throughout the day while networking with other attendees.

Pantograms Introduces Quick Release Cap Option

Pantograms Manufacturing Company, Tampa, FL is pleased to announce an improvement to the cap attachment system for TOYOTA Expert 851 and Expert 860 machines. Taking the cue from several customer suggestions and comments, Pantograms ' technicians, in conjunction with Aisin Corporation, Toyota's embroidery products division, devised a method for making the installation and removal process much easier and faster for their users. Certain screws and bolts have been replaced with knobs that lock the brackets on the machine, leaving no loose parts. The cap driver now attaches using two thumbscrews, which doubles as a quick release for most other hoop holders as well. Average assembly time has been reduced from approximately five minutes to less than one! This new attachment system is especially beneficial for embroiderers with fewer machines who find themselves frequently changing modes to accommodate different jobs.

This improvement was debuted at the Tampa Imprinted Sportswear Show in February and will be demonstrated at upcoming events throughout the year including Atlantic City ISS, March 16-18.

Pantograms' Annual Open House a Success

Pantograms Manufacturing Company, Inc. (Tampa, FL) hosted its annual open house on Sunday, February 18th following the Tampa Imprinted Sportswear Show. This very popular event is an opportunity for the company's potential and existing customers to tour the facility and meet with support staff in all departments.

This year, guests enjoyed the racecar theme of the event, which took place during the Daytona 500. Contests included a customer competition for the fastest installation of the TOYOTA machine's new easy-to-install cap option. Leslie Jacques of Kissimmee, Florida, won the prize for first place with the winning time of 22 seconds.

"Customers enjoy the opportunity to meet face to face with the people that help them over the phone, and, I have to admit, prospective customers acquire a favorable impression, and that makes us feel good," says John Colman, CEO and founder of Pantograms. Guests also sampled great food and received fun door prizes.

Pantograms Manufacturing Company, Inc., of Tampa, FL is pleased to announce their Great Millenium Give-Away 2000 grand prizewinner, Chris Spilker of Crystal Beach, FL. Chris is not currently embroidering, but would like to get started. Therefore, she signed up for the contest at last year's Tampa ISS Show. Chris had the opportunity to choose from a free ProLine digitizing package or an Expert 851 startup package.
